The Countdown Begins….

So its Monday and its 2 days before my chemo starts. I am starting to feel a bit scared and apprehensive about it, but I know its the way forward and I need to face everything that comes with it head on!!

What worries me is not knowing exactly how I will be feeling after, more so the initial few days after. Some people breeze through and some people are at the other end of the scale. My philosophy is if I expect the worst and its even slightly better than that is better than expecting to breeze through and it to be bad and having a higher height to fall from. And that is not being negative, its just being realistic.

I’m so blessed to have great family and friends around me, and its their support that will get me through this.

xxxxx
