The Last Cocktail

Im sitting with my gorgeous husband, Stuart enjoying a Mojito. After my treatment tomorrow drinks can only be at room temperature or above. So it was my idea to try and get the craving for an ice cold drink out of the way!
Today, I have been at the hospital so the nurse can go over everything that may occur due to the side effects. I got some moisturising cream, mouth wash and a thermometer.
Im feeling quite scared but not of
needles or the actual treatment but of the unknown of how I will feel after. I’m just gonna take a deep breath and get on with it!

PS Thankyou to everyone for all your kind words of support, both on here and facebook. It honestly means so much

Enjoy every last sip Katie. I can understand your fears of the treatment, it’s fear of the unknown, and hopefully once this first round is over you will be better prepared for the next and feel less apprehensive. Keeping everything crossed that the treatment will be kind to you and you won’t have to suffer too much. Will be thinking of you tomorrow and beyond x

Hope you enjoyed your nice cold drink! There will be more to come after your treatment 😉 But for now you have to be strong to do everything doctors tell you to do, but carry on doing everything what you like to do as well. It’s important to leave a ‘normal’ life that you can enjoy, despite it may feel completely abnormal for now. It’s only temporary! 🙂 Lots of love to you all! 🙂
